Lizzo Allegations Show Once Again Why Identity Politics Doesn’t Make You A Good Person

Published

on

The salacious lawsuit filed against mega pop star Lizzo by several of her backup dancers is not only ironic, but it’s also a reminder that our identities should be defined by personal character, not by how many oppression boxes we check. In the lawsuit filed last week, the former backup dancers accused the singer of body shaming and pressuring them to perform grotesque sexual acts at an Amsterdam strip club.

Lizzo — the woman who built her brand around being an obese, anti-bullying, vaguely LGBT, racial minority — is accused of actually being a fatphobic, sexually harassing bully. It’s ironic because Lizzo has personally made her weight a focal point of her public persona. She has publicly proclaimed “I like being fat” and dubbed herself a “body icon.”

You might wonder why Lizzo, a popular pop star, would want to proclaim herself a “body icon” instead of a “music icon.” But when people like fitness influencer Jillian Michaels point that out, Lizzo and her fans recoil because, according to contemporary culture, Lizzo’s weight is intrinsically tied to Lizzo. It’s who she is, not merely an accidental characteristic.

Obesity is part of the intersectional coalition of our society’s protected classes, among which are black, Hispanic, indigenous, and LGBT people. That’s why Lizzo and other overweight individuals appear proud of their obesity — a debilitating condition that can cause heart disease, diabetes, depression, and early death, among other problems.

To be someone of importance in modern society, one has to be able to demonstrate a level of oppression.

Democrats Can’t Boot Biden Without ‘Denying’ The Primary Election

Published

Democrats love to talk about democracy almost as much as they love to bring up “Russia! Russia! Russia!” The blue party’s usual talking points about preserving “America’s sacred cause” at whatever cost (literally), however, were suspiciously lacking from their commentary on the first presidential debate.

For years, Democrats and their corporate media cronies have gnashed their teeth and stomped their feet about “defending democracy” by smearing election integrity and attacking Republicans who try to protect women and children.

Democrats are so dead set on their definition of democracy that they joined establishment Republicans to waste billions of American tax dollars on an overseas war between two corrupt countries that has no oversight or end in sight. Never mind that the United States, which is technically a republic, is on the brink of destruction thanks to the leftist party.

They also put incessant pressure on former President Donald Trump to “accept the results of the election” while most of their own routinely rejected their party’s losses.

.@DanaBashCNN: “Will you pledge tonight that once all legal challenges have been exhausted, that you will accept the results of this election regardless of who wins? And you will say right now that political violence in any form is unacceptable?”

Instead of advancing “democracy” by promoting what they purport to be voters’ wishes for the future of the nation now, however, Democrat strategists, corporate media, and late-night keyboard lurkers collectively agreed by

The Real Winner Of Last Night’s Debate Was Gavin Newsom

Published

California’s far-left governor spent the hour before Thursday night’s debate in the media spin room ostensibly cheerleading for a president he knows he is about to replace, either in four years or four months.

“This is it,” Gov. Gavin Newsom told reporters ahead of the primetime event, going after former President Donald Trump more than promoting President Joe Biden. “This is liberalism versus illiberalism.”

“This is very sobering for me and I hope for the American people,” Newsom added.

What was more sobering, however, was when the 81-year-old incumbent took the stage and put his senility on display. Here are some of the headlines Americans woke up to Friday morning:

The Trump campaign was quick to capitalize on Biden’s poor performance with an ad highlighting some of the president’s worst moments.

Immediately after the debate ended, CNN’s John King noted “a deep, a wide and a very aggressive panic” engulfing the Democratic Party.

“It started minutes into the debate and it continues right now,” King said. “It involves party strategists. It involves elected officials. It involves fundraisers. And they are having conversations about the president’s performance which they think was dismal.”

“Some of those conversations,” King added, “include ‘should we go to the White House and ask the president to step aside?’ Other conversations are about ‘should prominent Democrats go public with that call?’”

CNN’s John King reflects on #CNNDebate: “This was a game-changing debate…there is a deep a wide and a very aggressive panic in the Democratic

The Debate Revealed That Any President Voters Elect Doesn’t Really Run The Government

Published

on

It was a little pathetic to watch Joe Biden on stage last night mumble so incoherently that nobody could doubt he’s simply a figurehead for leader of the free world. It raises the thought: While he’s been presented as president for three and a half years, who has really been executing the powers and duties of the office?

While Donald Trump’s performance showed him in full command of his will and voice, his own four years in office also pointed in a similar direction. It wasn’t because he was merely a prop for president, like Joe Biden. It was because Trump’s insistence that he energetically carry out the mandate voters gave him conflicted very visibly with the belief among many in the federal government that, at this point, all presidents are props — even the ones who have full command of their faculties.

Montana radio host Aaron Flint pointed out that replacing Biden with another Democrat will still leave in power the people currently using him like a presidential skin suit. That’s also true, to a large extent, of replacing Biden with Trump.

Now, there is indeed a serious difference between a president with dementia and a president without. Certainly nobody could use Trump like a skin suit. Even staff, pollsters, and advisers can’t micromanage him like they micromanage many politicians. However, because we’ve already had the benefit of a Trump presidency, we can see that even a president as vigorous and defiant as he struggled to truly exercise authority
