WI Rep. Wants Judiciary Committee To Look Into Election-Related Raid On Wausau Mayor’s Home

Wisconsin’s far-left top prosecutor still isn’t commenting two days after The Federalist first reported the state Department of Justice led a raid on the office and home of Wausau Mayor Douglas Diny —  a law enforcement operation tied to Diny’s removal and relocation of an unsecured absentee ballot drop box outside city hall. 

Meanwhile, Rep. Tom Tiffany, a Republican who represents Wausau in northern Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, said that he’d like the House Judiciary Committee to investigate Attorney General Josh Kaul’s politically driven probe. Tiffany, who serves on the committee, told Wisconsin conservative talk show host Vicki McKenna that Kaul’s actions reek of the kind of politically weaponized investigations and prosecutions Biden-Harris administration Attorney General Merrick Garland has delivered during his tenure. 

“I see Merrick Garland doing stuff like this out in Washington, D.C., whether it’s on Catholics or people in school board meetings, whatever the case may be,” said the congressman, referring to some of the U.S. Department of Justice’s many targets. “Now it appears Josh Kaul for Halloween wants to be the mini-Merrick Garland.” 

‘Actions of Jack-Booted Thugs’

On Friday, a source with knowledge of Wednesday’s raid told The Federalist that law enforcement officials seized cell phones and other electronic devices supposedly relevant to the Wausau investigation. That included Diny’s wife’s cell phone, said the source who asked not to be identified because of the developing nature of the case.

The press was hysterical after former President Donald Trump manned the drive-through window at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s Sunday and genuinely looked like he was having a blast.

“I think I might come back and do it again,” Trump said after handing off another bag of fast food. When the next car pulled up, Trump went on to chuckle about being shot in the face this summer when a passenger said, “Thank you for taking a bullet for us.”

Two McDonald’s customers come up to the drive up window to see President Trump greet them, and then drop this absolutely amazing line:

“Mr. President, thank you for taking a bullet for us.”

The Republican presidential nominee walked into the franchise restaurant in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, Sunday “looking for a job.”

“I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s,” Trump said in a TikTok video shared on X. “I never did.”

The campaign stop was characteristic of a president who famously served the iconically American chain’s burgers and fries to champion football players in the White House five years ago. His brief shift behind the fryer allowed the ex-president to interact directly with voters while taking a dig at Vice President Kamala Harris’ alleged fast-food résumé embellishment.

I’m not sure everyone comprehends what a masterful day of campaigning this is.

Trump’s McDonald’s Stop Exposes Corporate Media’s Contempt For The Working Class

In predictable fashion, America’s morally and ethically bankrupt legacy media are melting down over former President Donald Trump’s visit to a McDonald’s franchise this past weekend.

The media-wide freak-out started shortly after the former president, donning an apron and his signature red tie, worked alongside McDonald’s staffers in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. While cooking french fries, Trump greeted customers at the drive-through and poked fun at Kamala Harris’ unsubstantiated claim she once worked at the popular fast-food chain.

“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” Trump said.

While the GOP nominee, franchise workers, and customers appeared to have enjoyed the experience, that hasn’t stopped America’s hack-tastic “journalists” from launching a seemingly coordinated smear campaign against Trump and McDonald’s.

On Monday morning, Newsweek’s Khaleda Rahman ran a hit piece against the Feasterville franchise for hosting the former president. Titled “McDonald’s Donald Trump Worked at Failed Last Health Inspection,” the article shows how Rahman went out of her way to obtain documents purportedly indicating the restaurant “failed its last health inspection.”

The Newsweek national correspondent also parroted leftists’ talking point that the campaign stop was a “stunt” because the Secret Service reportedly vetted drive-through customers beforehand to ensure the safety of the former president, who’s been the intended target of two assassination attempts. She also placed the onus on Trump to prove Harris never worked at McDonald’s, rather than on the vice president, who has yet to provide such documentary evidence.

The feeling is not mutual, with Trump calling Baldwin a “Radical leftist senator.”

Baldwin must have noticed a change in the wind to suddenly align with Trump because in September she was seen on video calling Trump the “most offensive, and hateful, and unacceptable presidential candidate we’ve ever had.”
