‘Local’ Election News In Battleground Pennsylvania Might Actually Be Repackaged Talking Points From This Leftist Messaging Session

Published

on

News consumers should be aware that a left-leaning group is targeting “local journalists” in battleground states with talking points on how to cover elections. In Pennsylvania, Democrat operatives coached reporters to be suspicious of “Republican activists” and elected officials who may raise legitimate concerns about how elections are run in this country.

Last week, the left-leaning nonprofit Knight Foundation hosted an “Election Law Forum” for Pennsylvania journalists as part of a virtual series promising to “equip journalists with essential, nonpartisan, fact-based knowledge on election law to better inform their communities in the lead-up to the 2024 elections and beyond,” according to an invitation. The forum was presented in partnership with the American Bar Association’s Task Force for American Democracy and Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

It seemed obvious the Pennsylvania training would take a left-leaning slant just from a look at the speaker list. The training included panelists former U.S. Representative Conor Lamb, a Democrat and a multiple-time political guest on MSNBC; Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat who was Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State in 2020; and Eric Kraeutler, a recently retired intellectual property litigator, according to his bio, and the current chair of the Committee of Seventy, a Philadelphia nonprofit that has “recently … pursued election and campaign reform policies that align with Democratic priorities,” according to InfluenceWatch. The session was facilitated by moderators Tracie Potts, of the Eisenhower Institute at Gettysburg College, and Katie Meyer of Spotlight PA, a digital news outlet funded in part by the Knight

Black GOP Voters Question Kamala Harris’ Authenticity On MSNBC: ‘We All Know She’s Not Black!’

Black voters shocked MSNBC host Alex Wagner when they questioned Vice President Kamala Harris’ authenticity.

“The first time I ever heard the name Kamala Harris,” said a woman named Dr. Alfie Goodwin, “it was in association to locking up parents for truancy.”

“I really didn’t understand how this person claims to be a black woman, but yet she’s locking up black women and black men and separating families.”

Harris made her crackdowns on truancy as a local prosecutor in San Francisco a top pitch to voters while running for California attorney general. When she was inaugurated following her first statewide election, Harris made clear, “We are putting parents on notice. If you fail in your responsibility to your kids, we are going to work to make sure you face the full force and consequences of the law.”

Harris was attacked for her aggressive initiatives on truancy in 2019 when she mounted her first run for president.

“The dispute over the truancy policy, which was later expanded statewide with Harris’s support, illustrates a broader issue for her,” Vox reported just weeks after Harris announced her presidential primary campaign. “Policies that may

In The Final Stretch Of The Campaign, Kamala Gets Very Small And Very Dangerous

Published

on

How quickly we went from “joy” and “vibes” to angry and desperate. Also dangerous.

Kamala Harris on Wednesday delivered remarks outside the vice president’s formal residence in Washington, and it was nothing short of appalling. Using an immediately discredited and very obviously campaign-coordinated article in The Atlantic from the previous day, plus a New York Times interview from a disgruntled former Trump administration official, she stated in her official capacity that her opponent is “increasingly unhinged and unstable.” She promised that in a second Trump term, he would be a president of “unchecked power,” adding that his behavior has shown him to be “deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous.”

Kamala stopped just short of officially declaring Trump an enemy of the state, though at the rate she and her allies in the national media are accelerating, it will be no surprise when she does. The entire shocking display was like watching a gambling addict down $25,000 in a single night and on his last chip, only to lose again. She has not a cent left to her name, and rent is due tomorrow.

It’s clear what Kamala’s campaign tried to do. It conspired with The New York Times and The Atlantic to simultaneously publish stories of microwaved lines — that Trump is Hitler, that he aspires to authoritarian heights of power, and that he harbors nothing but “disdain” for the U.S. military and the unfortunate. CNN ran coverage of the two articles all morning, and with the media happy to comply for

Dems Targeted Trump Official For Past Alcoholism Then Cried Foul On Biden Addiction Stories

Published

Democrats and the media cried foul on Republicans four years ago when Hunter Biden’s chronic drug use emerged in the spotlight as a campaign issue. The Democrats, however, had tried to exploit the alcoholic past of a senior Trump campaign official in the same election.

A chief spokesman for former President Donald Trump’s latest two presidential runs battled a severe alcohol addiction for nearly 30 years before finally remaining sober. He had almost been clean for four years by the time Democrats tried to weaponize his history with alcoholism to attack him.

In 2019, Tim Murtaugh, the newly named communications director for Trump’s 2020 reelection effort was faced with questions from reporters about a pair of previous DUI convictions that included jail time. Murtaugh detailed the attempted character assassination in his recent memoir, Swing Hard In Case You Hit It, comparing existence as an addict to his new life as a senior spokesman for a presidential campaign.

“We managed to fight them all off,” Muraugh wrote, “and I learned through my conversations with those reporters that my arrest record was being shopped around by a specific Democratic opposition research firm that typically looks into the backgrounds of Republican candidates for office.”

Murtaugh said the experience led him to develop “a strong aversion to attacking the staff of any campaign.”

“Naturally, a candidate is an appropriate target of criticism, and a staffer who says or does things that are germane to the campaign should be considered in bounds,” Murtaugh wrote. “But
