Kamala Harris Keeps Reminding Voters She’s ‘Joe Biden 2.0’

CNN hosted a town hall with Kamala Harris Wednesday night, and it went about as poorly as you’d expect.

When she wasn’t avoiding questions prospective voters asked her, the Democrat presidential nominee was delivering nonsensical answers when host Anderson Cooper confronted her over her radical left-wing positions. Needless to say, it was like watching a real-life, female version of Michael Scott from “The Office” on stage.

The most revealing moment of the night, however, came when Harris was asked how her presidency would differ from that of Joe Biden’s. Like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming car, the vice president had no real answer to give.

She shot off generic statements about how her presidency “will not be a continuation of the Biden administration,” saying that she represents “a new generation of leadership on a number of issues,” but didn’t specify how her administration would be different. The Democrat presidential nominee was thoroughly incapable of differentiating herself from Biden — and therein lies her biggest problem.

It’s been obvious since the launch of her candidacy that Harris is seeking to cast former President Donald Trump — who hasn’t been in office for four years — as the incumbent responsible for the crises unleashed by the Biden-Harris administration. Town hall viewers saw this strategy Wednesday night, as many of the vice president’s responses to questions reverted back to why she thinks Trump is a dictator who would destroy America as we know it.
