Kamala Harris’ newfound talking point is that Donald Trump is too “unstable” and “unhinged” to lead the United States at home and abroad. While laughable coming from the party that’s covered up Joe Biden’s mental decline for years, Harris’ remarks are even more absurd when one considers how “unstable” and “unhinged” the world has become under the Biden-Harris administration.

Case in point: the Taiwan Strait, where communist China launched a day-long military exercise on Monday simulating a blockade of the island nation. According to U.S. Naval Institute News, Taiwan’s defense ministry reported that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command “ordered 125 sorties by aircraft, helicopters and drones near the island.”

The operation followed a speech by Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te on Taiwan’s National Day last week. In his remarks, the president noted that Taiwan and China’s respective governments “are not subordinate to each other” and that the latter “has no right to represent Taiwan.”

China dispatched a record 153 military aircraft near the island on Monday and Tuesday.

While certainly alarming, the latest disturbance in the Taiwan Strait is no longer an anomaly. Rather, it’s a microcosm of the chaos enveloping the globe as a result of the Biden-Harris administration’s reckless foreign policy.

Wilson Fauber has been a well-respected real estate agent and broker in the Staunton, Virginia, area for 44 years, with no professional complaints ever filed against him. That is, until 2024, following an aggressive initiative by a political opposition group intent on damaging Fauber’s reputation by targeting his Christian beliefs.

“In 2015, I posted Biblical quotes on my personal Facebook page,” Fauber said. “Around the same time, Rev. Franklin Graham had created a post and I re-posted with some additions for emphasis,” said Fauber, who is also an ordained minister. “The post thread contained Bible references and explanations from a minister’s perspective.”

The quotes, posted on behalf of Arise International Ministries from Fauber’s personal Facebook page, emphasized the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. They were made before the Supreme Court had decided or heard oral arguments regarding same-sex marriage in 2015 — meaning that at that time, under law, marriage was between and man and a woman — and well before the National Association of Realtors (NAR) amended its ethics code language regarding hate speech.

Fauber knows of no complaints or claimed offense regarding his posts, until 2023, when he chose to run for Staunton City Council. Coining Fauber “the Hater,” an opposition group targeted his biblical beliefs. The group’s slander caught the attention of the NAR, of which Fauber is a longtime member.

A New Amendment to Code of Ethics

In 2020, the NAR adopted a new amendment to its code of ethics. Standard

Houston, Texas, and Salt Lake City, Utah, made eye-popping headlines for their self-claimed success in addressing homelessness using the Housing First approach. Both jurisdictions had all but declared victory over homelessness.

Salt Lake City’s 2015 claim was unraveled in 2018 as Utah’s state auditor found the claim was based on bad data.

It was the Houston Chronicle that revealed the unraveling of the city’s model as they described a scene with Houston’s new, pragmatic mayor as he spoke with homeless men and women hunkering down for the night in the city’s theater district. “Sure looks like we’ve fixed it, didn’t we?” he asked sarcastically.

While a blow to the Houston and Salt Lake City communities that were continually reassured they were successfully tackling homelessness, it is an even greater blow to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) that had only two models to which to point — Salt Lake City and Houston.

Housing First models are now permanently out of stock.

First adopted at the federal level as the nation’s one-size-fits-all approach to homelessness in 2013, the stated promise was that the policy shift would end homelessness in a decade.

The implication of the shift and the decision by Houston and Salt Lake City to do the same was that housing vouchers became the primary tool in their homelessness toolkit. Funding and requirements for mental health therapy, substance use disorder counseling, and employment training were deliberately minimized and, in many cases, eliminated. 

Yet 10 years later, the number of homeless Americans is
