Noncitizen ID Can Be Used To Vote, Says Proposed Wisconsin Election Commission Guidance

Published

on

Prompted by Rep. Bryan Steil to act, the feckless Wisconsin Elections Commission will meet on Friday to issue guidance clarifying the use of noncitizen IDs at the polls.

Steil, chairman of the House Administration Committee, which oversees federal election law, sent a letter late last week demanding WEC clarify whether swing state Wisconsin’s Limited Term and Non-Domiciled driver’s licenses and ID cards may be used as proof of residency to register to vote.

Spoiler Alert: The temporary visitor IDs generally issued to noncitizens can be used to vote, according to proposed guidance from members of the Elections Commission. So anybody could potentially claim to be a U.S. citizen and vote with the ID, with only their word as proof, Elections Commissioner Bob Spindell explained to The Federalist.

Wisconsin law, according to the WEC memo, “mandates that these identifications must be accepted as a proper form of voter identification.”

“However, possessing a valid identification does not necessarily mean the holder of the identification is eligible to vote,” the memo states.

As the guidance notes, Limited Term and Non-Domiciled ID holders, or “temporary visitors,” generally are not lawful permanent residents — green card holders — or U.S. citizens at the time the IDs are issued.

Noncitizens are strictly prohibited from voting in U.S. elections, so why would the temporary visitor IDs be cleared for use to vote in elections?

Spindell tells The Federalist that a cardholder could have become a naturalized citizen after the issuance of the ID. But the individual doesn’t

Leftist Group Threatens Michigan Voters: ‘We Will Be Reviewing’ Your Voting Record

An official-looking envelope arrived in the mail on Friday. It came from the Voter Participation Center — a shadowy left-wing group — and contained threatening language.

“Remember, who you vote for is private, but whether or not you voted is public record,” wrote VPC President Tom Lopach in the letter. “We’re sending this mailing to you and your neighbors to share who does and does not vote in an effort to promote election participation.”

The mailer was addressed to my wife. It included a chart with her name, our Michigan address, and her supposed voting record from 2016 to 2022. It placed her information alongside what it claims are voting records of our “neighbors,” though we live nowhere near the streets listed.

“We will be reviewing these records after the election to determine whether or not you joined your neighbors in voting,” Lopach wrote. “While we have hidden the name and street number of your neighbors to protect their privacy, these are their true voting records.”

The mailer falsely claimed my wife did not vote in 2020. The outside of the mailer bears a return address in Lansing on Allegan Street, the same street where the secretary of state’s office is located, in the Charles E. Chamberlain Federal Building. From the large VPC seal on the mailer to the Lansing address, it looks almost intentionally official.

The VPC and its “sister” group, the Center for Voter Information, have been sending

Leftist Groups Turn To Threats To Get Out The Vote

Published

Growing increasingly desperate in a tight presidential race, leftist groups appear to be turning to the intimidation game just days before the election.

The Maryland Attorney General’s Office is warning the infamous Voter Participation Center to stop sending mailers to residents “threatening to expose” their voting records.

Attorney General Anthony Brown, a Democrat, sent the VPC a cease-and-desist letter after Marylanders complained of receiving the group’s so-called “voting report card” attempting to shame people into voting.

“We’re sending this mailing to you and your neighbors to share who does and does not vote in an effort to promote election participation. While we have hidden the name and street number of your neighbors to protect privacy, these are their true voting records,” the mailer warns. “We will be reviewing these records after the election to determine whether or not you joined your neighbors in voting.”

In a press release, Brown admonished the voter registration activist group that “any action that intimidates prospective voters, especially on the eve of such a consequential election, will not be tolerated.”

“Voting is among the most important rights that Marylanders have,” the AG wrote. “Let me be clear: these unnerving letters are unacceptable, and Maryland voters should know that their decision to vote this Election Day is entirely theirs to make.”

‘It’s Really Gross’

The VPC, which bills itself as a “non-profit, non-partisan organization” with a mission to “help members of the New American Majority register and vote,” has been using such tactics for the better

Democrats’ Liz Cheney Hoax Is Another Desperate Attempt To ‘Disqualify’ Trump From The White House

Published

on

The Democrats’ allied press has gone all out with yet another hoax to thwart former President Donald Trump’s return as commander-in-chief just days before the election closes. Four years ago, the media was twisting Trump’s words to suggest the president was recommending Americans inject themselves with bleach. This week, they’re manipulating his remarks to suggest a top political foe be shot.

On Thursday, Trump campaigned with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in Arizona, where the two assailed the neocon warmongers now backing Vice President Kamala Harris, including ousted Rep. Liz Cheney. Here is what Trump said about the ex-Wyoming lawmaker:

She’s a radical warhawk. Let’s put her with a rifle, standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let’s see how she feels about it, when the guns are trained on her face. They’re all warhawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying, “Gee, let’s send 10,000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy,”

Here is what Aaron Rupar, one of the internet’s worst left-wing propagandists, would have voters think that Trump said:

She’s a radical warhawk. Let’s put her with a rifle, standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay?

Wow, I’m so shocked that propagandist Rupar cut it off before this line: “They’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying ‘Oh gee, let’s send 10,000 troops into the mouths of the enemies.’ She always wanted to go to war
