Republicans’ Anti-DeSantis Curriculum Attacks Are A Gift To The Left

Published

on

It’s bad enough when Democrats and their legacy media allies intentionally distort facts to smear conservatives. It’s inexplicable when Republicans help them do it.

Last week, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott — a contender for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination — accepted Democrats’ phony premise that there’s something wrong with Florida’s slavery curriculum. Vice President Kamala Harris and regime-approved media had been fomenting the complete lie that the Sunshine State’s new African American history curriculum teaches students that slavery was beneficial to black Americans.

As The Federalist’s Eddie Scarry and others have pointed out, these claims are total nonsense. The standards are clear in teaching that, despite their enslavement, blacks developed skills that “in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit” — not that slavery was beneficial to them. It’s worth mentioning that the College Board’s African American studies course includes similar teachings.

But these facts didn’t stop Republicans like Scott from advancing Harris’ false narrative about the subject. When asked about it late last week, Scott embraced the lie and used it to attack fellow 2024 primary contender Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

“[T]here is no silver lining in freedom — in slavery. The truth is that anything you can learn, any benefits that people suggest you had during slavery, you would have had as a free person,” Scott said. “[Slavery] was just devastating. So, I would hope that every person in our country, and certainly running for president would appreciate that. Listen, people have bad

CBS Faces ‘News Distortion’ Complaint Amid ’60 Minutes’ Harris Interview Edit Scandal

Published

The “disinformation” police are the real criminals this election, guilty of massaging, distorting, and mangling facts to fit their true agenda — stopping Donald Trump and electing Kamala Harris.

As Election Day looms, more and more Americans understand that the media outlets once trusted as objective news sources have fractured that faith with routine acts of journalistic malpractice.

Case in point, the slick editing work CBS News did in a “60 Minutes” interview earlier this month with the vice president, the Democratic Party’s replacement presidential nominee.

The Oct. 6 episode of the network’s “Face the Nation” used a clip to promote that evening’s “60 Minutes” interview with Harris in which the vice president offered her standard word salad answer to correspondent Bill Whitaker’s question about U.S. policy on Israel and the war in Gaza.

“We supply Israel with billions of dollars in military aid and yet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems to be charting his own course,” Whitaker said. “The Biden-Harris administration has pressed him to agree to a ceasefire; he’s resisted. You urged him not to go into Lebanon; he went in anyway. He has promised to make Iran pay for the missile attack, and that has the potential of expanding the war. Does the U.S. have no sway over Prime Minister Netanyahu?”

“Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our

Kamala Harris’ Foreign Policy Would Make The World More Unstable Than It Already Is

Published

Kamala Harris’ newfound talking point is that Donald Trump is too “unstable” and “unhinged” to lead the United States at home and abroad. While laughable coming from the party that’s covered up Joe Biden’s mental decline for years, Harris’ remarks are even more absurd when one considers how “unstable” and “unhinged” the world has become under the Biden-Harris administration.

Case in point: the Taiwan Strait, where communist China launched a day-long military exercise on Monday simulating a blockade of the island nation. According to U.S. Naval Institute News, Taiwan’s defense ministry reported that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command “ordered 125 sorties by aircraft, helicopters and drones near the island.”

The operation followed a speech by Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te on Taiwan’s National Day last week. In his remarks, the president noted that Taiwan and China’s respective governments “are not subordinate to each other” and that the latter “has no right to represent Taiwan.”

China dispatched a record 153 military aircraft near the island on Monday and Tuesday.

While certainly alarming, the latest disturbance in the Taiwan Strait is no longer an anomaly. Rather, it’s a microcosm of the chaos enveloping the globe as a result of the Biden-Harris administration’s reckless foreign policy.

Through a combination of horrific decision-making and sheer weakness, Biden, Harris, and their merry band of nincompoops have turned U.S. foreign policy on its head. America is no longer respected or feared by its greatest adversaries, and the growing conflicts orchestrated by these powers are

Christian Realtor Persecuted For ‘Hate Speech’ After Posting Bible Verses On Facebook

Published

on

Wilson Fauber has been a well-respected real estate agent and broker in the Staunton, Virginia, area for 44 years, with no professional complaints ever filed against him. That is, until 2024, following an aggressive initiative by a political opposition group intent on damaging Fauber’s reputation by targeting his Christian beliefs.

“In 2015, I posted Biblical quotes on my personal Facebook page,” Fauber said. “Around the same time, Rev. Franklin Graham had created a post and I re-posted with some additions for emphasis,” said Fauber, who is also an ordained minister. “The post thread contained Bible references and explanations from a minister’s perspective.”

The quotes, posted on behalf of Arise International Ministries from Fauber’s personal Facebook page, emphasized the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. They were made before the Supreme Court had decided or heard oral arguments regarding same-sex marriage in 2015 — meaning that at that time, under law, marriage was between and man and a woman — and well before the National Association of Realtors (NAR) amended its ethics code language regarding hate speech.

Fauber knows of no complaints or claimed offense regarding his posts, until 2023, when he chose to run for Staunton City Council. Coining Fauber “the Hater,” an opposition group targeted his biblical beliefs. The group’s slander caught the attention of the NAR, of which Fauber is a longtime member.

A New Amendment to Code of Ethics

In 2020, the NAR adopted a new amendment to its code of ethics. Standard
