To Win Polarized Elections, Republicans Need More Than Weak Opponents — They Need Strong Leaders

Published

on

Tuesday’s anticipated red wave broke — in the kiddie pool. Yes, Republicans appear poised to regain control of the House and may also wrestle the Senate from Chuck Schumer’s hands. And those victories should be appreciated. But conservatives cannot help but be disappointed that the expected red tsunami never hit.

Nor can Republicans chalk the lower-than-predicted pickups up to cognitive biases causing conservatives to overestimate their midterm fortunes. Democrats also forecasted a routing last night and must be ecstatic that not only did a massive red wave not hit, but the ripple, at first glance, barely upset the baby.

Elon Musk: ‘This Will Be The Last Election’ If Harris Wins

Published

Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk warned Pennsylvania voters Saturday “this will be the last election” if Vice President Kamala Harris wins in November.

“I have one ask for everyone in the audience,” Musk said, addressing both the crowd and the cameras that livestreamed the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. “Register to vote, and get everyone you know and everyone you don’t know. Drag them to register to vote.”

“There’s only two days left to register in both Georgia and Arizona,” Musk added. “And then make sure they actually do vote. If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction.”

Musk made the ominous remark as Democrats hysterically warn the return of former President Donald Trump to the Oval Office signals the end of democracy despite two assassination attempts this year, including at Saturday’s venue earlier this summer. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went on CNN last month to prophesize about the dangers represented by Democrats’ political opponents.

“Nothing less is at stake than our democracy in this election,” Pelosi said. “You hear that in the country. You hear that globally. And we have to remove all doubt that our democracy is strong.”

A man tried to assassinate Trump at one of his West Palm Beach resorts a few days later. In July, Trump narrowly survived a would-be assassin’s bullet in Butler, Pennsylvania after a series of catastrophic failures by the Secret Service left the former president vulnerable. Trump triumphantly returned to the fairgrounds on Saturday

Pro-Hamas Marches Sweep American Cities Leading Up To Anniversary Of Oct. 7 Massacre In Israel

Published

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators held marches across major American cities this weekend leading up to the one-year anniversary of when Hamas terrorists massacred more than 1,100 people in Israel.

In Washington, D.C., one man was taken to the hospital after lighting himself on fire Saturday night in Black Lives Matter Plaza. The Washington Post identified the burned man as Samuel Mena Jr., who other rallygoers said used “they/them pronouns” and included plans on a personal website “to demonstrate” this weekend “with as much of my conviction as I possibly can.”

Footage of the incident shared online shows police intervening after a man set fire to his left arm. Aaron Bushnell, another pro-Palestinian demonstrator, previously died after immolating himself in front of the Israeli embassy last February.

Kamala Harris Claims To ‘Love America,’ But Her Record Shows She Hates It

Published

At a campaign rally in Wisconsin last week with former Rep. Liz Cheney, Vice President Kamala Harris opened by saying, “we love America.” She repeated the phrase several times, emphasizing that what brought her and Cheney together is a love for country that transcends partisan politics.

Set aside whether the endorsement of Cheney matters at all to voters in either party. Her neocon Never-Trump brand of Republican politics is repugnant to most GOP voters, and Democrats have long denounced her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, as a war criminal.

No one cares about the Cheney family’s endorsement of Harris. The more important question is: does Harris really love America?

Her record suggests she does not, and that in fact she hates America.

Consider what Harris said about America when the New York Times launched its 1619 Project back in 2019. She called it “a masterpiece” and endorsed its central thesis, saying, “We must speak this truth: the very foundation of our country was built on the backs of enslaved people.”

Recall that the entire purpose of the 1619 Project was to “reframe the country’s history” by placing slavery “at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are.” The project began with the false claim the “true founding” of America was not 1776 but 1619, when African slaves were first brought to North America. The essay by Nikole Hannah-Jones that launched the 1619 Project made a number of outlandish and quickly debunked historical assertions, like the American Revolution was
